Personal Information You Disclose: We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide when registering for the Service or expressing interest in our Services. This includes:
- Names, email addresses, usernames, passwords
- Name of the door you use and date/time of opening using our Services
Sensitive Information: We do not process sensitive information.
Application Data: We may collect geolocation information, Bluetooth access, and microphone access (with your permission) to maintain application security and operation.
2. How Do We Process Your Information?
We process your information to provide, improve, and manage our Services, including:
- Facilitating account creation and authentication
- Analyzing system performance through aggregated data
3. How Long Do We Keep Your Information?
Personal and test data are destroyed two years after the test period ends. Aggregated analysis findings are retained to support system improvement and commercialization efforts.
4. How Do We Keep Your Information Safe?
We implement appropriate technical and organizational safeguards. However, no system is 100% secure. Access our Services within a secure environment to minimize risks.
5. Do We Collect Information from Minors?
No. We do not knowingly solicit or market to individuals under 18 years of age.
6. What Are Your Privacy Rights?
In Canada, you have rights to greater access and control over your personal information. You may review, modify, or terminate your account at any time.
7. How Can You Review or Delete the Data We Collect?
You may request access to or deletion of your personal information by contacting the principal investigator. However, deletion requests made after two months of signing the Consent Form cannot be honored.
8. Do We Make Updates to This Notice?
Yes. Updates will be indicated by a "Revised" date and become effective immediately upon posting. We recommend reviewing this notice periodically.
